Production Technology
Seger differs from other because of its superior production techniques and its ability to modify the design of its horn quickly according to the special needs. In order to maintain its current status, Seger invests more than 10% of its profits to Research & Development. With its unique design of horns, Seger can pass most challenging tests without difficulty.
In the design process Seger uses UNIGRAPHICS & CATIA 5.0 programs. These programs help our R&D staff to continuously work to improve the current design of our horns. Also our technical team uses the standard methodologies such as APQP, DOE, DFMEA, PFMEA, and QFD. As a result of this teamwork, Seger has the capacity to produce more than 15 million horns annually.
Seger also has a lot of investments on creation of its own moulds. After the drawings are being received from the engineering department, Seger produces their unique moulds inside the factory in order to protect its know-how methods. Then these moulds become ready for our press workshop.
In our press workshop we try to use the latest technology equipments. These not only helps us manufacture goods with precision, it also saves us a lot of time in producing them. As a result Seger is able to produce the half-products very efficiently before they are sent to the automation lines.
Currently Seger obtains 4 automation lines, 1 of them being fully automated. 2 of them are in our Bursa plant, and the other 2 are located at the Seger’s Guangzhou plant. These automated lines are being monitored continuously and if any danger potential is being detected that can harm the horn, whole production line is stopped immediately. Also Seger can get a live data on how many horns have been produced and their sound characteristics every second. After all necessary steps are done to produce the horn, it comes to a final control room where every single horn is checked one by one is they are working properly or not. Then, finally it becomes ready for shipment.
