Global production levels are increasing rapidly and uncontrolled. Because of the governments taking action against changing environmental conditions lately, it seems that nature of our world is being destroyed more quickly than estimated before. Although scientists have many ideas about the effects in published reports, they have a common point which actions should be taken today and tomorrow will be too late. We as SEGER doing what we have to do today and we are trying to get our tomorrows under our protection.

In order to prevent environmental and climate issues that may occur in the future, SEGER has received BV ISO 14001 certification in 2004. In this context, SEGER dedicated itself to make more efficient products, and it has designed a new electronic horn which reached over 1 million cycles in the tests. It means people do not need to change horns during the life of a car. When it compares with other horns on the market, it is 10 times more durable, and spent less energy. SEGER’s new electronic horn with excellent design serves high performance with greener approach.

In addition to this product, our R & D department has been working on new more compact and simple horns. Our goal is to use less material and produce horns using less energy.

When we assess from production side, SEGER has reached successful results in order to produce horns with the aim of being more productive and environmentally. As a result of improvements we made on production lines, we have achieved to decrease consumption of, water, electricity and natural gas average around %27 compared to previous years.

According to the previous year we were able to reduce amount of water used per product by 28% in 2010.

Even though we were a little bit away from our goals 2006, in 2010 we’ve achieved to decrease electricity consumption by %17 compared with previous year and we are continuing progress in line with our objectives.
